Goldswil is situated at a superb position on Lake Brienz, with all the summer and winter attractions of the Jungfrau Region at the doorstep. The tiny Burgsee Lake, where water temperatures reach 25°C, is an inviting spot to swim in early summer. There is also a guest programme and folklore evenings in the summer.

The nearby village of Bönigen nestles between two mountain ranges at the lower end of the lake, with picturesque wooden houses and lush meadows. It’s a village alive with tradition and in harmony with nature.

An excursion by mountain cableway and railway from Lauterbrunnen to Mürren is something is also something special available. Guests are bewitched by the natural charm of the rock terrace above the Lauterbrunnen Valley.

In the heart of this natural paradise lies Winteregg, with its cheese dairy offering local produce on around 100 days during the period of alp grazing from June to September.

Kleine Scheidegg is located at 2,061 metres above sea level, at the very foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau massif. It forms a natural pass between the valleys of Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald and awards visitors a spectacular view of the Eiger North Wall, one of the greatest mountaineering challenges in the Alps.

On 1st of August 1912, Europe’s highest altitude railway station was opened at 3,454 metres above sea level.

Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe was thus made accessible to the general public and the Jungfrau Region, Switzerland. The entire world gained another stunning natural spectacle. Sooner or later, most visitors hanker after a trip to the Jungfraujoch as the “icing on the cake” of their holiday.
